			<description>
Kim Ortloff has a degree from Florida State University in exercise physiology 
through the College of Human Sciences.  She is a graduate of the CORE Institute 
of Massage Therapy and is a licensed massage therapist and sports massage therapist in the state of Florida.  
Kim continues to study with Aaron Mattes, kinesiologist and founder of the Mattes 
method of Active Isolated Stretching at his rehabilitative facility in Sarasota, FL.  
She has assisted Aaron Mattes in his teaching of AIS nationwide to various massage 
therapist, physical therapist, chiropractors, personal trainers, and athletic trainers.  



Ms. Ortloff has co-authored a book titled  Where It Hurts and Why , an 
inspirational and motivational guide to self healing.



Ms. Ortloff supports athletes locally, nationally and internationally.  She works
as team therapist for Florida State University's Football, Basketball, Baseball, 
Softball, Soccer Track   Field and Swimming.  Served as team therapist 2005, 2004
NCAA Track, Regional and Finals as well as 1998 ACC Swim Finals.  Team therapist 
for Zimbabwe at the 1999 World Track   Field Championship, Seville, Spain  1996 
Summer Olympics, with the USA Handball team and in the Sports Massage Clinic, 
Atlanta, GA.

Baltimore Ravens NFL, Brad Johnson, Minnesota Viking NFL, Andre Wadsworth, Arizona 
Cardinals MLB, Douglas Edwards, Atlanta Hawks NBA (retired), Jonathan Edwards, WR 
Triple Jump, England (Bronze Medal).  Ken Harnden 1999 and 2000 olympic hurdler 
for Zimbabwe, current FSU assistant track coach.  Kris Tamulis, LPGA; Jay 
Pichard, finisher of the 2000 Eco-challenge Borneo.

Instructor/Trainer in the area of Active Isolated Stretching Technique, 
providing service nationwide to Massage Therapist, Physical Therapist, 
Chiropractors and Athletic Trainers.


Kim has been featured as a guest lecturer at FSU in the department of athletic 
training sports medicine academic major and continues to work closely with the 
athletic department.  She speaks and teaches locally in Tallahassee on motivation, 
goal setting and promotion and application of health and wellness.
